Kane Brothers transformed this formerly barren landscape into an intimate gathering space. The garden features a sunken hot tub, custom built-in grill, multi-terraced patio spaces, a cedar footbridge, and a tumbling stream that terminates into a dramatic Koi pond with multiple cascades and teaming with aquatic plants. An advanced lighting system brings the space dramatically to life throughout the evening.

Working around existing mature trees, in addition to limited access to the site, provided many challenges throughout the construction process – which the Kane Brothers overcame by utilizing creative site planning and solid building practices. From within the confines of a standard suburban backyard, this site stands as a prime example of the potential contained within a standard residential lot.
